Biography

My name is Jay and I'm a Texas-based photographer currently working in the Matagorda Bay area south of Houston but I'm always willing to travel for the right projects!

I grew up in Texas and attended Texas A&M University to study aerospace engineering. Life has taken me down many pathways from Alaska where I worked forestry and trained sled dogs for the Iditarod and Yukon Quest to Denver for a period of time before landing back in Texas. I'm always ready for life's next adventure!

My Work

The majority of my work is focused on capturing images of the places, people, or things that inspire me or that I feel deserve to be shared with the world.

To me photography is such an amazing way of capturing a moment or conveying a vision and I strive to show that in my photos. This love for the art drives me to participate in all aspects of photography and to challenge myself with new projects.
